Getting very acquainted with this VF3 from
I’m very impressed with the intuitive nature of the controls. I expected a much larger learning curve and attribute the perceived ease to the Haas engineers putting a lot of thought and talent into the whole system. Any guesses as to what we’re wildling out here?

Our collaboration together over the last five years has shown me what an incredible ability he has in areas far beyond aircraft livery design. 98 Days Until PRTC-

Possibly one of the most exciting shipments to arrive is a box full of SDS EFI product! This system greatly expands the operational envelope, allowing us to run higher race power while still maintaining excellent “street drivability”. All of this is achieved without making the system so complex that it becomes unreliable or difficult to manage a fault. A lot of thought went into failure modes in this system and it shows. There is no other EFI system that I’d be willing to take to the sky. I personally have almost 400 hours behind SDS between two installations that I raced and flew cross country regularly. SDS allowed me greater control over the engine, more data analysis through datalogging and far better fuel efficiency. More details on the redundancy of the electrical system to follow.
