I have reserved a transport vehicle, 3 car enclosed Sundowner full ramp trailer, with side access doors, this rig can fit a SVJ, no problem. I am committed to having him haul my 720 from Maryland to Abilene and would like to have 2 more racers join me from the DMV area or somewhere between the DMV and Abilene. The driver will not be making any other transports, he will deliver our cars to Abilene, stay with us for the weekend of races, then transport our cars back after we are done running on Sunday. No waiting around or making special pick up arrangements. Cost is $4K round trip if from the DMV area. Please let me know ASAP.

Public service announcement to my Maryland tax payer friends. I made a quarterly estimated tax payment on the Maryland Comptroller website on Tuesday, January 16th. Today, I saw that they debited the amount that I authorized from my checking account not once, but twice!!! I called the Maryland taxpayer line and and the customer service representative tells me that an internal email was distributed this morning about the issue, but nothing has been communicated to the public yet. I asked when my account would be credited and she told me it make take up to 3 weeks! Unbelievable....

Tomorrow, July 23rd, we will be meeting at our regular spot in Poolesville at our regular time, 9-11am. Next meet will be August 13th. We meet year round, the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month, weather permitting.
