GO-POCI

GO-POCI We are the Greater Ozarks Chapter of Pontiac-Oakland Club International (GO-POCI). The club is open all owners or fans of Pontiac, Oakland or GMC.

We generally meet first Tuesday of each month at Ziggies Cafe at 2515 N Glenstone in Springfield MO. We publish monthly meeting minutes and event reminders. Many of our members attend area cruises and car shows independently or in small groups. Our club displays as a group each year at the Birthplace of Route 66 Festival. Our section is known as "Pontiac Alley". We hold the Show-Me Regional Car Sh

ow each year in September. It is open to all Pontiac, Oakland, GMC makes & models, with a special invitation to Buick, Cadillac and Oldsmobile. No matter what the condition of your car, we would invite you to join our club.

A special shoutout to our club member David Pierce! He received 1 of the 3 Goodguys Rod & Custom Association Rep Awards for his 1970 Pontiac Firebird Formula. This award is a special recognition presented at automotive events by official Goodguys representatives. These representatives act as extended association staff, granting a designated “Goodguys Pick” to outstanding hot rods, custom cars, or trucks that catch their eye during local runs and national shows.  Congratulations David!

Big THANK YOU to our Club Members that represented the Greater Ozarks Chapter of POCI (GO-POCI) at the Birthplace of Route 66 Festival Car Show this past weekend. As usual, we reserve and fill all 24 spaces in Zone L (Park Central West) with Pontiacs from the west side of the Square to Campbell Street, or as we call it “The Pontiac Zone”! Jack Stinson presented Rob Snelling with a Top Choice Award for his 1970 LeMans. It was a very hot weekend, so kudos to everyone for braving the heat. Shout out to Harbell's Grill and Sports Bar for great lunches and beverages. Thanks again to all who participated.
