Are you a cold weather camper or team summer only? With extreme winter weather upon us we wanted to give you some tips to ensure you are prepared for winter camping!

1. Ensure you have a heated water hose.

2. Wrap your water spigot in heat tape to prevent a freeze at the source. *BONUS*-if you are staying with us that won't be an issue! Our water hookups are at ground level to prevent freezing!

3. Ditch your outdoor water filter. They just are not designed for icy cold weather and will bust open.

4. Keep your black tank closed and empty all at once as needed. Nobody wants that to freeze in the sewer hose!

5. Make sure you are stocked up on propane and USE IT. Keep electric heaters on as a supplement, but use propane heat to make sure you whole rv is being heated to help protect pipes. Especially if your rig is equipped with a heated underbelly.

6. Leave cabinet doors open under the bath and kitchen sink to help move heat in and around those pipes.
