🚨 Roadway Update 🚨

Due to ongoing winter weather and continued coordination with road crews working to improve conditions, Meigs County will remain under a Level 3 Snow Emergency until 4:00 p.m. This allows crews additional time to safely clear and treat roadways.

Road conditions will be reassessed later this afternoon, and another update will be provided at 4:00 p.m.

Please avoid travel. Stay safe, Meigs County. ❄️🚔

**LEVEL 3 SNOW EMERGENCY**

Sunday, January 25th, 2026

Sheriff Scott Fitch has placed Meigs County under a level 3 snow emergency. All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel.

No one should be driving during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel or a personal emergency exists. If you are on the roads in Meigs County you will be subject to arrest.

Saturday, December 13th, 2025

Meigs County Sheriff Scott Fitch has issued a Level 2 Snow Emergency for Meigs County.

Level 2 Snow Emergency: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be very icy. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roads.
Contact your employer to see if you should report to work. Motorists should use extreme caution.

Every day is a day to learn. Yesterday, our team had the opportunity to assist and learn from a fellow company we consider a valued partner, High Road Towing. Fortunately, everyone returned home safely from this incident, thanks to the good lord and the exceptional efforts of first responders.

A tractor-trailer driver has been rescued from his cab, hanging partially over a bridge in Mason County following a crash.

Bring a frog or rent one! But don’t miss the epic event!

Hope everyone is feeding their frogs! 🐸 this event will be one to remember!
💥 The rules are simple. Drop your frog on the spot and remove your hands. You can jump, scream, hoot and holler as long as you do not physically touch your frog. You get three jumps. One that goes the longest distance wins!
🐸 Registration is at 11am main stage top of parking lot.
🐸 $20 entry per adult
🐸 $5 entry for kids & teens
🐸 Need a Rental frog well have those too!
1st place is money in all three categories, 2nd & 3rd are trophies.
