***Snowblowers & Generators ****
Did you know ALL brand new machines should have a basic service after about the first 20 hrs of use. Oil change , grease down , checking belt tensions and for loose bolts/hardware , fuel treatment etc......
Generators:
With the amount of hours some of us put on our machines because of Hernando and especially if it did not have a complete seasonal service at the beginning of this season , it's time!! **Remember any and all pieces of gasoline powered equipment require yearly maintenance no matter how much use they have had in previous seasons.**
Snowblowers:
I'm a big believer in specifically *Star-Tron fuel stabilizer*!! 1oz of stabilizer per 3 gallons of fuel , I usually add 2oz to my 5 gallon gas can every time I bring to gas station to refill. If your not adding it directly to gas can before fill up year round, than do yourself a favor , add some directly to the gas tank of machine and let run 20 minutes before storing it in your shed. Make sure to have machine serviced next season so its ready when needed. I typically start servicing snowblowers in September.
