Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles.

Responsibilities:

•Inspect and diagnose vehicles
•Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.)
•Repair or replace parts
•Maintain check sheet, equipment and tools
•Maintain work area (e.g. put tools away, storing parts, sweeping etc.)

Requirements:

•2+ years of experience
•State certification
•Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems
•Willingness to observe, learn & teach new techniques
•Able to lift up to 50 LBS
•Tools
•A.S.E Certification a plus
•Experience using Mitchell 1 a plus

Salary:

•Based on experience, skills & certification
•Paid weekly

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.
Auto Mechanic must be well versed in mechanical and or electronic systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They must also be good communicators to provide advice to customers.

Responsibilities:
•Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
•Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
•Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.)
•Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
•Rotating & replacing tires as well as vehicle alignments
•Maintain check sheet
•Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
•Maintain work area (e.g. put tools away, storing parts, sweeping etc.)

Requirements:

•Proven experience as auto mechanic
•Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
•Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
•Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
•Willingness to observe, learn & teach new techniques
•Excellent physical condition
•Must provide own tools
•High school diploma is preferred
•State certification
•A.S.E Certification is a plus

Responsibilities:

•Explain services and products to customers
•Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive environment for both

•Operate Mitchell 1 software
•Experience writing estimates in a fast paced environment
•Assist in finding and ordering parts
•Look up information for various applications
•Drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions
•Vehicle inspections, Workflow process, Bay area navigation, work orders
•Prepare and inspect work orders, Checklist and Vehicle Inspection Form
(Health Check) for completeness.
•Follow all shop safety policies and procedures
•May be required to open and close store
•Maintain showroom, restroom, parking lot & front desk
•Assist in the shop on an as needed basis

Requirements:
•Preferred 2 years of auto service/sales or technician experience
•Comprehensive automotive knowledge
•Self motivated and goal oriented
•Experience using Mitchell 1 a plus

•Must have valid drivers license
•Ability to stand for long periods of time
