After looking at multiple forecasts most have a 50 percent chance of showers during the day, and a 60 percent chance in the evening. Using promoter math that's 110 percent chance of a rainy miserable day for racing.But it's not all bad news.
We are excited to announce that the Brandyn Ross Memorial for Street Stocks is being rescheduled to be part of the South Bend Showdown weekend at South Bend Motor Speedway September 11th and 12th. Brandyn won a great number of races at South Bend in multiple classes and always enjoyed the open competition V8 class.
The classes for the Showdown will be Street Stocks,Factory Fords and Open Class V-8 s, Hornets and Open Class 4 Cylinders. Looking forward to paying tribute to Brandyn Ross at the Showdown

Here is our payout for The Brandyn Ross Memorial race and lap count will remain the same, SS A 30 laps, 4-Cylinder, Factory Ford and Hornet A all 20 laps. We will also have heats for all classes;

Street Stock, $2012, $1200, $800, $500, $400, $300, $250, $200 to start

4 Cylinders, $312, $200, $185, $160, $125, $75 to start

Factory Fords, $512, $400, $300, $200, $100, $75 to start

Hornets, $512, $400, $300, $200, $100, $70 to start

Outlaw Late Models will not be part of the Brandyn Ross Memorial Race this Saturday. We have been in contact with over 20 teams/car owners and we could not get commitments for a large enough number of cars to put on a show worthy of you the fans. We are as disappointed as all of you trust us, we have been planning since last fall when we set the schedule.We will be honoring Brandyn Ross that evening with a class that Brandyn Ross was very successful in, Street Stocks. Brandyn's last win at Plymouth Motor Speedway was in a a Street Stock and he was always tough to beat. We will release more details tomorrow.
