🔧 What's New in the Shop This Week at Clare Repair? 🔧

Bryce is giving another trailer some much-needed love! So far it's getting brakes, drums, wheel bearings, tires, lights, new jacks, a breakaway box, and some freshly welded steps. (And don't worry, I'll be handling the tires—I'm still the Tire Queen. 👑🛞)

Meanwhile, Eric is deep into a Cummins with a blown head gasket. The head is off and headed to the machine shop to get checked over before it goes back together.

As for me, I'm currently underneath Big Blue (on my brand new blue Snap-On creeper🤪) giving her an oil change. If you've been around Clare Repair, you've probably noticed our collection of personal Ram Cummins trucks scattered around the yard. They need attention too!

Because let's be honest... when you're a mechanic, your own stuff always gets fixed last. 😂

This grain hopper bottom came in for some Clare Repair love (or as Eric says it - "the full Rodney") 👨‍🏭🔥

We went through the rear end of this trailer:
✔️ Brakes
✔️ Drums
✔️ S-cams
✔️ Bushings
✔️ Slack adjusters
✔️ Wheel bearings & seals
✔️ Rebuilt hubs
✔️ Fixed lights
✔️ Reskinned the rear with new aluminum paneling and stainless steel rivets

This trailer is basically like new again and ready to get back to work.

Huge shoutout to Bryce on his ONE YEAR anniversary at Clare Repair! 🔧

It’s hard to put into words how much we appreciate everything he brings to the shop every day. His work ethic, willingness to jump in wherever needed, and positive attitude do not go unnoticed.

Good help is hard to find, and we sure are lucky to have him. Thanks for everything, Bryce! 👏

Good morning 🌞

Sorry for the inconvenience but our power will be cut for a few hours starting this morning as a crew will be working on our new shop. We won't be able to answer the phone or respond to emails for a while.

Not to sound “corny” 🌽 but… this planter decided to "plant" itself right in front of the farmer’s shop today.

It's not the most convenient time for a broken frame so we at Clare Repair headed out and welded it back together.

She’s back in business just in time for a beautiful weekend of planting 🌱 🌞

Alright guys and gals.. here's another trivia question..

This is a brake job we recently did on a Ford F700… definitely not your everyday setup.

Does anyone recognize what kind of braking system this is?

First one like this for us—and honestly, this is the kind of stuff we enjoy.

A lot of shops don’t want to mess with the older, oddball setups and they often end up here at Clare Repair 🔧
