Here's the thing about being an auto shop.

Anybody can hang a sign out front and tell you they do good work. That part's easy. Talk is cheap in this business. What separates the shops that actually mean it from the ones that just say it is what they're willing to put behind their work when the paperwork gets signed and you drive off the lot.

We've been in Pleasureville for YEARS doing this. So a while back we decided to do something about it. Something that puts our money where our mouth is.

I’ve gotta brag on our community for a minute.

When we decided to do the school supply deal at Joe’s Garage, we really didn’t know what to expect. Bring in $25 worth of school supplies and we’ll give you a free oil change.

Well… y’all showed up BIG.

And I want to make something clear — we didn’t do this. YOU did. Our customers and our community are the ones who went out, bought all these supplies, and brought them in. We just gave everybody a reason to come together and make it happen.

This is one of the things I love about living and doing business in a small community. When there’s a chance to help somebody, people step up. We couldn’t believe how much stuff came through the doors.

So THANK YOU to every single person who participated. This picture is what happens when a community takes care of its own. We’re just proud Joe’s Garage got to be a small part of it.

And one more thing 😂 apparently AI got involved in the school’s picture. Those are actually mine and Traci’s clothes, and that’s exactly how the school supplies looked when we dropped them off… but those two people are definitely NOT me and Traci. 😂😂 I guess AI decided we needed replacements.

Seriously though, thank y’all. We love this community and couldn’t be more proud to be a part of it. ❤️

Today's the day. 📚❤️

Last day of our School Supply Drive. If you've been planning to swing by, today is it. We're taking donations right up until close.

$25 in NEW supplies gets you a voucher for a free oil change (up to 6 quarts). Everything you drop off today goes straight to the school before the year kicks off.

Whether you make it in today or you've already dropped off this week, we can't say thank you enough. Watching this town rally to make sure local kids and teachers start the year with what they need is exactly why we love being part of it.

This is what a community looks like.

Two days from now, our School Supply Drive wraps up. If you've been meaning to swing by with a bag of supplies, this is the reminder.

Between now and Friday the 14th, $25 in NEW supplies gets you a voucher for a free oil change (up to 6 quarts) and puts everything you drop off into classrooms right before the school year starts.

You don't have to overthink it. A pack of notebooks, some pencils, a box of crayons, a couple boxes of tissues. You already know the list. Grab a few things on your next store run and drop them by the shop.

Every bit matters. Kids feel it when their classroom is stocked and their teacher isn't scrambling.

Since we kicked this off last week, y'all have been showing up in a big way. Notebooks, boxes of crayons, packs of pencils, folders, tissue boxes — the counter is filling up and it's a beautiful thing.

If you haven't made it in yet, we've still got until the 14th. Every $25 in NEW supplies gets you a voucher for a free oil change (up to 6 quarts) and puts real supplies in real classrooms.

A few things that are always in high demand if you're not sure what to grab:

📓 Wide-ruled notebooks
✏️ #2 pencils (the classroom workhorse)
🖍️ Crayons and colored pencils
📁 Folders (any color, teachers use them all)
🧻 Tissues and hand sanitizer
🖇️ Glue sticks

Pick a couple, drop them by the shop. Simple as that.
