Egr valve was replaced at another shop because it had a “Egr code”. A little more diagnosis/effort would’ve shown this as the cause of the code. The “code” gives you an area to start looking.

Car sat in a garage for years without being driven. Had to take apart the fuel system and replace the fuel pump assembly and clean out the tanks and all of the plumbing. Runs great now, ready for the road!
