Congratulations to Joe Oplawski and Chip King on being the fastest legal pro mod and being the first to run in the 5.50’s! We are happy that B&J Racing Transmissions is on board to help make that run.

HISTORY in St. Louis. Chip King went 5.596 at World Wide Technology Raceway, the first 5.50s run in NHRA Pro Mod history. He was there at the very first NHRA Pro Mod race, and today he took the class somewhere it's never been.

Tuner Joe Oplawski didn't see a 5.596 coming. He made a transmission change to get Chip King's Charger to run better down low, then looked at the St. Louis conditions and decided to go for it. It went, and it's the first 5.50s pass in NHRA Pro Mod history. 👑 Would you have made that call?
