It’s hard to believe how much has happened at Shady Oaks since we opened for Season Two in May.

We’ve welcomed a lot of new and returning campers, watched Oak Meadow fill up after months of work getting those sites ready, hosted live music, movie nights, our Vintage Camper Rally and Car Show, food trucks, and plenty of busy summer weekends in between.

More than anything, we’re grateful to everyone who has camped with us, stopped by for an event, brought friends and family to visit, or simply supported us along the way. It’s been a busy summer, and we’re really thankful for the community that continues to grow around Shady Oaks.

And we’re not done yet. There’s still plenty of camping season ahead, with more events, beautiful fall weekends, and a lot more to look forward to before Season Two comes to an end.

Live music is back at Shady Oaks this Saturday!

Join us on Saturday, August 22 for Plain Jane, playing live from 7-10PM. Bring a lawn chair, gather with friends and neighbors, and come enjoy another summer evening of live music at the campground.

All are welcome! The concert is free for campers and $5 for guests. BYOB.

Live music returns to Shady Oaks on Friday, August 7!

We’re excited to welcome Bruce, Bill & Jeff back for their second performance at the campground this season. Join us beginning at 7:00 PM for an evening of great music and good company.

Caracciola’s Italian Food Truck is also scheduled to be here starting around 5pm, so come hungry and enjoy some delicious Italian favorites before the music begins.

Camp with us for the weekend or stop by for the evening. Admission is free for campers and just $5 for guests. Bring a lawn chair, your favorite beverage (BYOB), and enjoy a great summer night at Shady Oaks.

This past weekend kept us busy in all the best ways.

Between the Fourth of July holiday, beautiful (and definitely hot!) weather, and a campground full of campers, it turned out to be our busiest weekend to date—and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Thank you to everyone who spent part of the holiday weekend with us. Whether you were staying for a few nights, visiting friends and family, or simply enjoying what the campground has to offer, we’re so glad you chose to be here.

Weekends like this remind us why we took on this project in the first place. Seeing the campground full of people making memories together is incredibly rewarding, and we’re excited for everything still to come this summer.
