Is the pavement so hot, you could fry an egg? Imagine how your tires must feel! When it’s hot, the heat can actually increase the pressure in your tires by 1-2 PSI for every 10°F rise in temperature and lead to overinflation. Be sure to check your tire pressure to avoid uneven wear, harsh ride or a blowout. Most passenger vehicles need tire pressure between 30 to 35 PSI but be sure to consult your vehicle’s owner’s manual or the tire placard inside the driver’s side door jam for manufacturer’s recommended PSI. 🚗☀ 🫠🍳
