Hey, car people!

While we haven’t been very active on here, it isn’t because we’ve been slacking!

Take a look at the largest project we have ever tackled and just completed! We’ve nicknamed this project “black mirror.”

We performed a 12.25 hour detail on this beautiful low mileage Chevy Silverado 2500 diesel pickup truck! Most of the time spent was performing a 3 stage paint correction on the vehicle’s exterior. We then sealed the exterior surfaces with a spray-on graphene coating that offers additional depth of color and long term protection.

The results certainly speak for themselves and we’re very proud to share them with you!

Second post of the evening!

Here are a few pictures of a recent detail we performed for a customer who JUST picked this Subaru up from the used car dealership!

The dealership performed "a detail" of the vehicle before the sale and applied a wax to the exterior of the vehicle which hid lots of paint blemishes and swirl marks. We put detail in quotations because most of the time these entail a light vacuuming and wash/wax. They don't spend the time getting into the nitty gritty areas nor do they ensure everything is just right before sending it on its way. You'll see one picture of the second-row seats with some form of coating applied to the top half of the seat front, but not the rest! There were also signs of splatter from that coating process on the other seat. Again, not to bash someone else's work, but it typically is done within an hour as those dealerships are wham-bamming out trade-ins to get them out on the lots. In this short time, mistakes get made and end up creating more work for people like ourselves! But enough of that!

Our customer had us perform a two-stage paint correction along with an extensive interior detail complete with leather protectant for those 7 seats! We were able to remove all the swirl marks and paint blemishes hidden by the wax, but first, we had to completely strip the vehicle of the wax. This was certainly an involved process from start to finish, but well worth it.

We enjoyed working on this vehicle because it was a change of pace from a totally soiled vehicle, and was a great reminder that not all cars are as clean as they appear from 10 feet away!

Hey car people!

We've been a bit quiet on here lately, but we've still been detailing!! Here's the most recent interior makeover we were responsible for!

This VW Jetta has never been cleaned since the owner purchased it, and it showed! It did make for quite the transformation, though! We had no trouble removing all the seat stains and dirt from the carpets.

Hey again, car people! This past weekend was a busy one!

We spent hours and hours on this Honda Accord! Per the owner's request, we washed, clay-barred, paint corrected, AND graphene-coated the vehicle! The results speak for themselves! Just look at that shine and glass-like paint!! Being an 8-year-old, black car, the paint was far from perfect, but with a little elbow grease, we were able to remove tons of those pesky scratches and love marks from years of driving and then seal that better-than-showroom-floor finish beneath the graphene coating!

Graphene coatings are like ceramic coatings on steroids! We have two of our personal vehicles coated with graphene and highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their vehicle coated.

This Accord will remain shiny and protected for many years to come!

Hey, car people! We're back! We haven't posted in quite some time now, but that doesn't mean we haven't been detailing!

Pictured below is the hood of a Buick that sat under a tree for several months and was in much need of some help. The owner came to the right place! We were able to remove all sap and caked-on dirt without an issue! We performed a wash of the rest of the vehicle but were asked by the owner to focus on the heavily soiled hood, so that's just what we did! Between a wash and clay bar, we were able to revert those months of accumulated grime!

Happy Weekend, car people!!

Last week, we had a Jeep that needed some serious attention come by for a full interior detail! As you will see by the before pictures, the car has been without a proper cleaning for quite a while now. Between the passenger and driver seats containing soda and other stains, to the floors and floor mats being so sandy and dirty, this jeep needed some serious help! After working ten hour days at our full time job, we tackled this car in 90 degree weather!

We were happy to be able to transform the interior for the customer and were quite pleased that most of the stains were able to be completely removed. It's difficult to remove 100% of all stains when they've been left on the carpet or cloth materials for an extended period of time (i.e. driver dead pedal), but we always do our best to remove as much as possible. The carpet on the driver footwell dead pedal has been damaged over it's 9 year life and that certainly makes cleaning it that much more tricky as well.

Happy weekend, car people!

We spent nearly 8 hours yesterday giving this Toyota Camry quite the makeover!!! Per the owner's request, we performed a full interior detail with a leather guard treatment and a full exterior detail with a light paint correction!

For the correction we first washed the vehicle, then clay barred, and then performed an "all-in-one" polish with a product made specifically for black cars! As you will see in some of the pictures attached, the vehicle came to us with some major swirling and scratches typical for a 90,000-mile, black car. The owner drives this vehicle all over the country and just wanted some major paint defects removed and a paint refresher. Some of the defects were too deep to fix but, for the most part, the car shined up quite well!!

For the interest of time, we performed one pass over the entire car, but we could spend much longer should the owner want most, if not all defects removed.

Transformations like this one and the owner's reaction to the finished product are what make performing details worth it!! We thoroughly enjoyed detailing this car from top to bottom, and appreciate the owner making the trip from VT.

This year has been nothing short of busy, but we're all for it!

We wasted no time this past weekend getting after it!

We detailed the interior and exterior of a Toyota Tacoma and then the interior and exterior of a Subaru Forester!

Hello car people! It's been a while since we last checked in!

We spent a few hours this past weekend de-winterizing the interior of this Lexus SUV!

A full interior detail was performed with a leather protectant added to help resist staining and spills on the seats. We're excited to get this car back in our garage to perform an exterior detail in the coming days!
