✅Must be 48 inches tall to ride alone. 📏 (there is NO cushion available to place behind your child if they struggle to reach the pedal. We are looking into ordering some for the kiddos who just meet the height requirement. We recommend you have a pillow or blanket available to place behind your child in case.)

Saturated Grounds Force Cancellation of Airborne Double Header (July 8 makeup, now Wednesday, 8/23)

PLATTSBURGH – Airborne Speedway officials have made the decision to cancel the double header event scheduled for Saturday, August 19 due to saturated grounds.

The racing surface is extremely wet, especially underneath the top surface and the safety of the racers is the biggest concern. It has been an extremely frustrating season with the weather in the north country. Over five inches of rain have already been recorded at the track in the month of August, creating unsafe conditions on and around the track.

Wednesday, August 23 has been set as a new date for the July 8 rain shortened event. Racing action will begin at 7 p.m. Heat races and a feature will take place for the Taylor Rental Street Stocks. Feature events will be contested for the Be Cool Heating & Air Conditioning 358-Modifieds, J & S Steel Sportsman, Hartson Total Opening Renegades and Northern Blacktopping Limited Sportsman.

Back to school night backpack giveaway is rescheduled to next Saturday, August 26.

Airborne has cancelled tonight's race due to rain! Unfortunately rain means no go karts as well, THIS RAIN NEEDS TO GO AWAY!

Unfortunately our order for tires did not arrive Friday as expected. After a very busy night last night, all karts are in need of new tires to run. We will be CLOSED TODAY as our delivery is now expected this week for the tires.
