If you hear noises coming from your vehicle, have it checked out. By a reputable company/shop.
While someone you know may be able to do it cheaper, there's no guarantee they'll fix it right or it'll be safe. Brakes are a very important part of a vehicle. Wherever you have them done, have them done properly.
