The MM3 magneto, designed for Ironhead and Flathead engines, specifically the '57-'70 XL, K, 45, and 80 Flatheads, features a stainless steel base that securely mounts to your cam cover. This unit incorporates automatic advance and manual re**rd for starting. With only the magneto head and the bearing-bronze ring at the top moving, issues such as leaks or instability commonly associated with stock 'advance' mounts are eliminated. Installation is facilitated in 12-degree position increments, offering greater precision compared to the standard 36-degree options. This system can be operated with or without a battery.
