THE STRUCTURE OF THE CLASS IS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Open every class with: Psalm 118: 24…”This is the Day that the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it!”
2. Exercises to warm up head to toe, stretch and strengthen the muscles. The exercises are similar to those used in Pilates, Yoga, Ballet and Interpretive Dance.
3. Introduce a
“Scripture of the Day” and put to interpretive dance movements. The “Scripture of the Day” and interpretive dance steps will be repeated intermittently throughout the rest of the class.
4. Put dance steps together to create short aerobic dance combinations. These will be done to up-tempo contemporary Christian music, following Patti.
5.Cool down on personal mat with slow stretching movements and end with Prayer requests and a Prayer.
