Two trucks. Two industries.

We’d like to highlight two builds our team completed last week for customers who rely on their vehicles every day.

For Mikeal Development, we equipped their Peterbilt dump truck with a Strobes N More warning light package designed to improve visibility on the job site and roadway while adding a clean, professional appearance to the truck. Whether it’s operating in traffic, on a construction site, or traveling between jobs, being seen is critical.

For Merli Towing, we completed a warning light upgrade on their service truck centered around their existing lightbar. Our team refurbished and reprogrammed a Whelen Century Elite lightbar in-house before reinstalling it, then added supplemental warning lighting to provide true 360-degree coverage. Whether it’s assisting motorists on the side of the highway at night or performing roadside services during the day, the upgraded system helps ensure the truck remains visible from every angle.

While these trucks serve very different purposes, they share one thing in common—operators who deserve equipment that helps keep them safe and visible on every job.

We’ve been looking forward to sharing this.

What started as a vision for a clean, highly functional warning package turned into one of our favorite Whelen Core builds to date. This Whelen Core package combines discreet warning lighting, work lighting, and intelligent control into one seamless system. Featuring TRIO smoked light heads, a TRIO Inner Edge FST, custom 3D-printed rear interior shrouds that provide ZERO flashback, Maxxima work lights, and seamless day/night mode integration, this build was designed to deliver performance without compromising a clean, professional appearance.

This project was built around Innovative’s vision from day one, and we’re proud to have had the opportunity to help bring it to reality. Seeing an idea go from a conversation to a finished product is always rewarding, and this one is no exception.

We always strive to be upfront and transparent with our customers. With that in mind, we wanted to provide an update regarding current lead times on certain special order products and explain what our team is doing behind the scenes to keep orders moving.

We want to make our customers aware that some special-order, non-stocked products are currently experiencing longer than normal lead times from several of our distributors and manufacturers.

These delays are primarily affecting “one off” and specialty order items, along with products impacted by increased municipal purchasing as many towns and cities approach the end of their fiscal year spending. Unfortunately, these delays are outside of our control, but we understand the inconvenience they create.

Please know that our team is aware of every affected order and is actively following up with distributors on a daily basis. We are maintaining thorough communication with customers whose orders are impacted and providing updates as soon as new information becomes available.

We sincerely apologize for any delays and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to get your products delivered and installed as quickly as possible.
