A new customer calls and says that he can't find anyone willing to work on his Tahoe.
Typical AFM equipped 5.3L engine.
Cylinder #4 had lifter failure that compromised the camshaft.
We corrected the issue with an AMS Racing cam and lifter kit.
Kit was great, job went smooth, and customer left happy.

Our business is looking for an individual who would like to enter an apprenticeship program.
PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION
This program will allow the individual to gain experience running a tractor, seeder, cultipacker, shredder, and possibly a hay blower. Experience/hours on any of these would definitely be a plus!
There will be some classroom training along with on the job training.
You would be working for an honest, hard working, family owned company.
This position WILL require traveling. You could be gone anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks at a time, depending on weather and progress of the job.
Individual must have a valid driver's license. Individual must have comon sense, an alarm, be self motivated, take pride in their work, follow intructions well, take constructive criticism well, and work well with others.

Do you have a trouble code for VGT performance and another shop trying to sell you a new turbo? Bring it out to Brush Auto and let us make sure it was properly diagnosed. You may get lucky, like this customer, and only have wiring in the loom that had got hot and broke. A simple wiring repair job, and a heat resistance sleeve over the harness, got this customer back on the road without the costly repair of a turbocharger replacement.
