GM factory coating, it’s scary, it’s bad, it makes your vehicle rot, oil based coatings make it come off. Well not really. We find Platinum Rust Protection to work very well. Now if we were 3 inches away would it cause damage to the factory coating? Ya of course. You just need to think a little bit before you do. Northeast Rust Proofing keeping vehicles rust free since 2019. And fixing rot since 2001. Yup we tried a lot of different ways during that time to keep a vehicle rust free and it didn’t work. We went oil based coatings like PRP in 2019 and have never looked back.
