Hi Hangtown Foreign clients, We are announcing that there is now new ownership at Hangtown Foreign!!
Longtime owner Phil Dodds has turned over and sold Hangtown to longtime top employee/mechanic Matt Freitas and his wife Amoreena, who will be the service writer/office manager.
There will be continuity since Matt knows the Hangtown way and already knows a lot of you guys.
We want to give appreciation to all of the Hangtown clients, and especially the longtime loyal clients that have been coming in for years, all the way back to the Joe and Phil days ! Without you and your support of Hangtown Foreign Car Service, the shop would not have been as successful as it is.

Today we were touched by yet another act of kindness and generosity by one of our community members.

Mr. Leconte (seen in the photo) will be running from Placerville to South Lake Tahoe, this Friday, July 15, 2016. He is doing this to show solidarity with El Dorado County law enforcement. The run will also be a fundraiser to support the families of the five Dallas police officers killed in the line of duty last week. The funds raised will be sent to Texas to be dispersed to the fallen officers families. Mr. Leconte has specified that he would also like the El Dorado County Sheriff's Posse to keep 50% of the funds raised for an EDC family emergency fund. X1374
