Did you know? In 2020, Dorsey Intermodal answered the call to support FEMA’s disaster response efforts, committing to supply 195 40-foot gooseneck container chassis for deployment across the U.S.

Built at Dorsey’s facility in Pittsview, Alabama, the chassis were incorporated into FEMA’s fleet to support containers stocked with essential supplies—including water, ready-to-eat meals, office supplies and other necessities—for disaster response teams.

It’s another example of how our equipment plays a role far beyond the ports and rail yards.
