We’re entering this week with and this time “she” is Jocelin Herstek. She is one of our newest Finance Manager Apprentices at #1 Cochran, but she isn’t new to the company or industry. Jocelin is celebrating 1 year with us as she was hired as a sales consultant. She joined the wonderful world of automotive in 2017 with a different automotive dealership before making her way to us!

When she joined #1 Cochran last year, Jocelin already had an abundance of knowledge, especially working with the KIA brand. Before transitioning to her current role, Jocelin helped our customers at our #1 Cochran KIA Robinson location. When asked what her favorite part of her job is, Jocelin said, “I love being able to assist customers. To me, every day is something a little different. Currently, as an apprentice, I enjoy moving around to different stores & meeting all the team members!”

After the apprenticeship is over, Jocelin is excited to take her career in automotive to the next level in finance and at #1 Cochran. She said, “For once, I feel like I’m surrounded by people who truly care about my goals, and #1 Cochran offers all the support and tools necessary to help me keep growing. It’s a wonderful thing to feel heard and encouraged in the workplace!” Above all, she says it is empowering to look around and see how many females are now doing great things in this industry. "It encourages me to keep reaching for my goals.”

Had a wonderful afternoon with a room full of 1,800 dedicated teammates who are proud to be part of something bigger ❤️

Now it’s time to recognize three stores that grew their local market share by at least double digit percentage points.

1. #1 Cochran Kia Robinson: General Sales Manager Mike Riederer
2. #1 Cochran Mazda Monroeville: General Sales Manager Andrew Hegerty
3. #1 Cochran Buick GMC Robinson: General Sales Manager Joe Schleicher

Amazing work on the part of all three teams!
