Position: Auto Body Shop Assistant

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $15/hour

Schedule: 3 days per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)

Start Date: Immediately

Job Description:
Maceil's Auto Body is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Auto Body Shop Assistant. This position is ideal for someone who is looking for immediate work, is detail-oriented, and enjoys a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Wash and clean vehicles, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Break down cardboard boxes and dispose of them properly.
- Move vehicles safely and carefully within the shop lot as directed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the shop floor and work areas by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
- Assist other shop staff with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
- No prior experience is required; however, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- 18+ years old.

Due to the UAW strike, the auto parts distribution centers have joined the UAW in solidarity and there will likely now be a delay in receiving parts. We ask that you please be patient with us as we schedule your cars for repair and we work with our vendors to obtain parts as soon as possible. Thank you!

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart, to let you know that our dear LeRoy (Keith’s father-in-law) passed away yesterday ♥️ He will be forever missed and irreplaceable in our hearts. For those of you who have had the pleasure of knowing him know he was the gentlest man and found joy in joking around and playing pranks on people. He was good, kind, and honorable. We love you LeRoy and we know you have been welcomed home with open arms.
