A positive update…

We are happy to announce we have received our permit to begin repairs to the Convenience Store at Parkway Service Station. Lots of moving parts and progress will happen over the next few weeks. We appreciate everyone who has supported us through this process as we can now see a light at the end of the tunnel. Stay tuned for further developments as we work to reopen as soon as possible.

We’ve surpassed 2 months of closure while we await permits from the City of Pittsburgh to make repairs to our convenience store. Our staff is anxious to return to work and we miss our customers. We are hoping to hear something soon so that we may reopen. In the meantime, we have been working on maintenance items and cleaning. 🧹 We will continue to update you as we progress along this difficult road.

While you’re waiting for our convenience store to reopen, we temporarily have our skilled gaming area open from 9a-5p Monday thru Friday. Stop by for some gaming action. 😁

One of the vehicles involved hit the gas station convenience store, damaging the building and starting a gas leak.

Parkway Service Station regrets to inform you our Convenience Store was compromised Saturday night due to a vehicle accident off of Route 51 hitting the rear and side of our building. We are thankful to say everyone involved is safe despite taking out our gas meter as well. The situation could have been a lot worse. Our store will remain closed for a period of time until repaired or rebuilt. Yet to be determined but we will be back in business soon in the Store. This includes our gaming area which does not have power.

The Maintenance Shop and Car Wash will remain open. We appreciate your support over the years since 1949. We will recover and reopen the store asap.

What can you do? You can help us by continuing to book your Inspections, oil changes and maintenance repairs on the Shop side and utilize the Car wash by paying at the podium.

We appreciate your patience as we work towards reopening our Convenience Store. My team is strong and resilient. We will get through this. Thank you.

Our Maintenance Shop will be CLOSED in Honor of Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th, 2026. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026 at 9:00 am. Our Convenience Store will remain open.
