Tachoir Auto Body info….

It’s after Labor Day…. Don’t wear white. Not in today’s world. Wear whatever you want.

Even with a shortened Labor Day weekend holiday, our team was still able to professionally finish and on time complete all the vehicles that were scheduled. AND we received a 100% satisfaction score for the week. That’s our objective; professional work, done right and on time.

We also added some new internal technology as well as completed our latest calibration training for the quarter. With all of the latest technology and so many sensors now in today’s vehicles, calibration is more important than ever. We need to make sure everything works properly and we take a great deal of time to make sure that happens.

Tachoir Auto Body once again had a busy week and delivered quite a few vehicles back to their owners. Professionally repaired to industry and insurance standards, cleaned and done with the utmost care.
Over the last several months the team here, led by owner Eric Capenos has been focused on organization, scheduling and completing the job on time. That focus is working as every vehicle worked on the last 2 weeks was completed on the proper schedule.
The only real item we have that sometimes is ourside of our control is “parts”. Parts are ordered and delivered based on the estimate and on occasion some parts may not be readily available or back ordered. In those cases we dig in and do detailed inventory searches throughout multiple parts dealers. Our objective is to not start on a new job unless we have all of the specific parts here in the premises.

It’s been another very busy week at Tachoir Auto Body. Although I only work 2 days a week, this is a great place to come and just interact with some really fine people. One of the things that I’ve learned over my 50 plus years in business is that nice and happy people usually perform better work. No truer statement could be more accurate concerning the team at Tachoir Auto Body. The gauge is a good, happy team and that’s what you’ll find here. Professional work, with a smile. It’s mid August and Tachoir Auto Body has been really busy getting quite a few professionally repaired vehicles back to their owners. No one wants to go to a body shop, but if you need one, this is the right place to go. We deal with all of the major insurance companies and are a Direct Repair facility for many of them. Our staff takes great pride in their work and are focused on total client satisfaction. We’re located on Tan Alley in Clairton just off of Worthington Ave. ( less than a mile from Route 51). Busy, busy week at Tachoir Auto Body as our top notch staff continues to complete the work with high quality and satisfied clients.

Because of the great work of our technicians and high satisfaction we are extremely busy with many, many large jobs. However, we do have some room for some smaller repairs ($1000-$4000 range). So, if you’d like an estimate just give us a call.

Technology Update!

The team at Tachoir Auto Body has invested in the latest technology, bringing in the new Autel ADAS Calibration Equipment. This system allows us to accurately calibrate many adaptive driver assistance systems (ADAS) after a collision.

Today’s newest technology, like Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assistance, Blind Spot Monitoring and 360 degree cameras are all systems that need calibrated properly to keep you safe on the road.

Ran into a past client from Benson Lincoln at Tachoir Auto Body, where I work Monday and Tuesday mornings.
The client was in an accident getting an estimate. Sadly, he didn’t take a picture of the other drivers license plate.
So, a good reminder- if you’re in an accident-

Take a picture of the other driver’s license plate.
Then pull off to a safe area if the cars can be driven. Take pictures of the damage. Call 911 if the vehicles can’t be driven or if there is an injury. Exchange information. Get names and contact info for any witnesses. If you even think you might be injured, get medical attention. Things like whiplash and other injuries can pop up days later. Better safe than sorry.
