I hate to do this, but the Friday Night TT series won’t be happening this year. All of us have a lot going on right now and couldn’t get things together. If anyone wants to step up and takeover we’re happy to lend a hand where we can. We know these have been a Pittsburgh tradition for a while and hate to be the ones to put it on hold but such is life.

Gorgeous summer weather greeted a solid group for the 40k event. I didn't think to ask who was new to the club, sorry about that! David G. Galati set both the fastest time of the night and a new 1 hour record of 27.97, almost completing a full lap in one minute at the end of the evening. Commendable.

August 17th is another 5 mile event. August 31 is the last event of the year, probably a combination of team events.

Pre reg is open for next week's 25 mi time trial! We will be running one wave starting at 6:30pm. Registration will start at 5:30. Cost is $10, no special licenses required. Bring whatever equipment you've got, aero or otherwise, and join us for some fun at the track!

Excellent turn out on a gorgeous night. Thanks for bearing with us on the cancellation issue. A huge tree was down on the track but the city cleared it much faster than we could have guessed.

Congrats to Shawn Lister for setting three new records in one night!

Hey everyone, tonight’s event is canceled. All this crazy weather brought a large tree down on the track and we don’t anticipate it being cleared. Sorry for the last minute cancel.

Team Time Trial this Friday!

We will run 2 events:

5 mile team pursuit - teams may work together to complete 10 laps as fast as possible. We will offer 2 categories:
- 3 or 4 member single gender teams. Time is recorded when the 3rd rider crosses the line.
- 2 member co-ed teams. Time is recorded when the 2nd rider crosses the line.

4 lap olympic sprint - One rider peels off after each lap. Time is recorded when the last remaining rider crosses the line.
- 4 member single gender teams
- 2 men and 2 women co-ed teams

TT bikes, road bikes, and mixed teams consisting of both are allowed. All aero gear is allowed, as long as you and your team are comfortable riding together!

If you would like to join, but don't have a team, please register and select the "I'm looking for a team!" option and we will do some match making before the event.

15 mile ITT results. A warm sultry night brought large fields and fast times. Congrats to Stefanie Sydlik Porter for breaking her third record! Galati came close but not quite.
Thank you to all our volunteers! We honestly had too many people last night! A good problem to have.
Next week, 7/6 we'll be doing a variety of team events. Please come down! If you don't have a team we can assemble a crew for you, hopefully. (Editor's note: I did one two years ago on a pick up team and it was a blast!)
