The City of Piqua will commemorate America's 250th anniversary with a weekend of community events, live entertainment and family activities during the Independence Day holiday weekend!

The celebration will begin with the Lock 9 Concert Series from 7 to 10:30 p.m. A Drone show sponsored by Dick Lumpkin's Auto Body, Inc. will follow at 10:30 p.m.

Celebration continues with PiquaFest, hosted by The Piqua Center in partnership with the City of Piqua and Mainstreet Piqua, from 2 to 10 p.m. in Lock 9 Park and the 200 block of North Main Street.
Music performances will begin at 2 p.m. and continue through 9:30 p.m.
Festivities will conclude with the City of Piqua's annual Independence Day Firework Show at 10 p.m.
***This year, the fireworks will be launched from the Garnsey Street Bridge, marking a change from previous years when the display was launched from Hollow Park. The show will be best viewed from Lock 9 Park and throughout the surrounding downtown area.

All events are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the holiday weekend in downtown Piqua and Lock 9 Park.
