PPF or vinyl — what’s actually the difference?

Paint Protection Film is a clear layer applied over your factory paint. It’s there to protect — rock chips, road debris, minor scratches, UV damage — while keeping your car’s original color and finish exactly as it is. Most quality film is self-healing, so light swirls and scratches disappear with heat.

Vinyl wrap changes the look. Color, finish, custom design — it’s a transformation, not just protection. It offers some UV and scuff resistance, but it’s not built to take the impact PPF is designed for.

If you want to protect what you already have — PPF. If you want to change it — vinyl. If you want both- color change PPF.
