🚐 RV Tip of the Day: Check Your Tire Age, Not Just the Tread! 🛞

Many RV owners look at tire tread and assume their tires are still good. The truth is that RV tires often age out before they wear out.

☀️ Sun exposure, weather, and long periods of sitting can cause tires to dry rot and weaken over time.

A good rule of thumb: Have your tires inspected regularly and pay close attention once they reach 3-5 years old, even if they still look like they have plenty of tread.

📍You can find the tire’s age by checking the DOT number on the sidewall. The last four digits show the week and year the tire was manufactured.

Taking a few minutes to check your tires can help prevent a blowout and keep your family safe on the road.

This lower panel had some pretty nasty damage, but with the right repair work we got this Bounder cleaned back up and looking sharp again!

It’s always satisfying seeing the transformation from rough repair stages to a smooth finished product ready to hit the road again. 🚍✨

From major water damage to a fresh new look ✨

All compromised wood was removed and replaced, and brand new linoleum was installed to bring this motorhome back to life.

Now it’s solid, refreshed, and ready for its next journey down the road! 🚐
