Feeling very thankful tonight for two strangers who helped me find my lost wedding ring, after midnight, during a tropical storm, in Sam’s parking lot. I ran a few errands late this evening & noticed my ring was missing after I got home. After searching my vehicle & everywhere in the house, at midnight, I decided I needed to do my due diligence & go check the two parking lots before filing a claim. Dennis was away working & I didn’t want to wake the boys so off I go. Not very prepared with no flashlight or raincoat thinking ‘this sure is a dumb idea’.

Hesitantly, because of it being a material item, I asked God to help me find it or lead me to someone who could help me. No luck at the first parking lot. At my second stop, I saw a parking lot sweeper truck across the street & decided I would ask if they had swept the Sam’s parking lot yet. The driver said they had not & I mentioned I think I may have lost my wedding ring. He immediately offered to come help me look.

I quickly searched the parking space & covered loading area but didn’t see it. The driver took my number & said he would call if it turned up. I felt defeated but reminded myself this is super trivial compared to what others are going through. Before I exited the parking lot, the driver called saying he found it! I was in complete shock because I had just looked around the two areas I was earlier.

So I want to give a big shout out and THANK YOU to Aaron & Mike operating the Supervac truck for Auto Tech in Pineville. They could have easily kept the ring & I would have never known.

Thank you guys for your kindness & honesty tonight! May you be blessed tenfold for all your wonderful deeds.

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic or Tire Alignment Service Tech to join our team and maintain our customer’s automotive needs. TOOLS ARE REQUIRED. Auto Tech has a full service automotive service department using Alldata, Prodemand, Texa and several other diagnostic analyzers. We range from front end alignments, tire sales and service, brake service to engine and transmission to tune-ups to diagnostics and electrical. Diesel experience a plus.

As an automotive mechanic with AUTO TECH , you will become a valuable member of a team of automotive professionals. Auto Tech has been in continuous business for over 28 years, we are a full service professional automotive facility. We have approximately 20 employees and several long term employees ranging from 8 years to 26 years who work well together.

The ideal candidate must have automotive mechanical experience in a mechanic shop or dealership, must have mechanic tools and effective communication skills.

Essential duties include the following, as service advisor assigns. Other duties may be assigned.

Troubleshooting, repairing and/or installing major automotive components(engine, transmissions,etc…) and systems, and/or alignments and tires
Identifying mechanical and operational problems utilizing a wide variety of test equipment, including computerized engine scanner and automotive computer programs
Front End Alignments

Completing repairs and installations with little or no technical advice
Effective communication skills

Qualifications

MUST have Mechanic shop or dealership experience

Serving as the primary point of contact for all automotive service and repair matters, the service advisor/writer must listen and understand customer problems, arrange for appropriate service/repairs, and set expectations satisfying the customer and the technician in terms of service delivery. The service advisor/writer makes sure the customer is satisfied that the vehicle will be repaired right the first time and in the shortest time possible.

The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. He or she must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver satisfactory customer service.

Essential duties include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

- Schedule service appointments
- Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain vehicle information
- Write up customer’s vehicle problems accurately and clearly on a repair order
- Test drive the vehicle with the customer as needed
- Refer to service history, inspect the vehicle with the customer to confirm problems and defects
- Advise customers on the care and proper maintenance of their vehicle
- Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts
- Obtain customer’s signature on repair order
- Notify cashier of incoming work
- Check on the progress of repairs throughout the day. Contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explain cost and time requirements in detail, and get proper authorization before any repairs are performed
- Review repair orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work authorization is noted
- Ensure that the vehicles are parked in assigned areas. makes sure they are locked and all keys are marked and put away correctly
- Explain completed work and all charges to customers
- Maintain customer satisfaction
- Handle telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in progress, must be perceptive
- Perform other duties as required
