🔥 Matt’s Monte Carlo is getting closer to being ready to make some power!
This one came in to get a few things wrapped up and, most importantly, get it fired up. Under the hood is a ProCharger 6.0L LS, backed by a 4L80E and controlled by Holley EFI.
We got everything sorted out to get it running, and once Matt gets the interior and finishing touches taken care of, it’ll be back at Hicks Tuned for some time on the dyno and a proper tune. 💻🔧

Made the trip up to Michigan this weekend to help dial Tantrum sand drag truck. 💪🏁
The combo features a BES Big Block Chevy, three stages of nitrous, and a Holley Dominator ECU. Since it’s a brand-new setup, we took a conservative approach and worked our way up with each pass. The truck responded exactly how we wanted, getting quicker every run.
Unfortunately, our weekend was cut short when a rocker arm failed, ending the testing early. That’s racing. We’ll get it repaired, make a few improvements, and come back even stronger.
Looking forward to getting this thing back on the track and seeing what it’s really capable of.
