Introducing the latest continuation to our popular “low buck” parts bundle kits: GAP “Low Buck” LS Heads & Cam Package

Got a budget build that needs a fresh set of heads? Looking to make a little more power than factory 243s or 799s can offer, but don’t want to spend a fortune CNC porting stock heads? This kit has you covered! Featuring LPC’s 225cc heads, Elgin’s E1840P “Sloppy Stage 2” camshaft, and a matching set of hardened chromoly pushrods all bundled up at a price point that comes it at less than most aftermarket heads alone. This kit is ready to bolt on with fully assembled heads that feature .625” lift rated single beehive springs with steel retainers. Pair this up with one of our Gen 3 or Gen 4 BTR top end rebuild kits and you’re ready to add some power while freshening up that junkyard LS!

GAP “Low Buck” Forged 6.0L Build Series - Ep. 4: Setting Bearing Clearances

I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted content on this build! Between moving into our new location and the start of race season, it’s been tough for me to make time to edit all of the content I have recorded.

In this episode I’m working on checking piston to wall clearance, camshaft bearing clearance, checking/setting main bearing clearance, and adjusting final crankshaft thrust.

🔥BTR CNC Ported Canted Valve Cylinder Heads just landed! This set is for one of my personal builds and all I can say is WOW! I knew they were nice, but these exceed my expectations.

Doing a DOD delete on your Gen V LT application, but don’t want to use the press in port plugs? No problem we keep the Texas Speed & Performance Gen V DOD delete valley covers in stock for the 14-18 L83/L86 and LT1 applications. The work just like the OEM Gen 4 covers did and seal the DOD stacks off from the bottom side allowing you to fully remove the factory VLOM cover.
