Difficult to find the words for all the emotions from yesterday’s race, but grateful has to be the main one, thankful to God to be back doing the sport I love, and to do it in such an incredible atmosphere as the TCS Sydney Marathon. Thank you to the organizers, the cheering crowds, and to everyone who has supported me, especially over the past year!

Congratulations to David Weir and Luo XingChuan on their podium finishes as well, to Manuela Schar, Eden Rainbow-Cooper, and Tatyana McFadden on the women’s side and to everyone out there pushing their limits yesterday. It was a good day 😊
