Tonight is Monday night so we are running the 4.5" Hardbody Stockcars.
4.5" Unlimited Stockcars start at 5:30PM followed by our regular 4.5" Hardbody Stockcars.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform everyone that we lost another Fast Eddie racing family member as well as a great friend of mine.
Walter Sparks passed away last Tuesday at the age of 83 with his loved ones around him at his home in Norway Maine.
Walter and his Wife Patti were snowbirds and would spend winter months here in St. Pete and join us weekly for some slot car racing and camaraderie.
For any of you that never got to meet Walter.....you weren't going to find a kinder, more gentle soul or a mellower person but when it came to racing slot cars he was a tenacious racer when was on the track.
My good friend had more health issues than any human being should have had to live through. What an incredible joy to be around and enjoyed life to the fullest whenever he could and never complained of all of his battles he had in his later years.
He had beat cancer numerous times in his lifetime but this last round was too much on his body.
I am very glad that I got to meet Walter in my lifetime and got to share plenty of stories with him.
Rest in peace my friend until we meet again.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends to help find strength knowing he was loved by many.

A full race report will be published either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Congratulations to our Tampa Bay RAYS on winning the American League East Division again while beating the Evil Empire NY Yankees. I mean swept the Yankees!!

We have a very nice pit box being raffled off on Monday November 2nd during the 600 lap race. Each entry is $10.00 and you can see the box on the attached picture.

Last night was fun watching the game while getting to help out some racers in practicing and getting to meet some new folks.

Man.....I can't thank everyone enough that helped out Monday night to allow me to go to the RAYS 2nd playoff game against the Yankees. Thank you all very much!!

First up was the 4.5" Unlimited 4.5" Hardbody Stockcar class.

This was a fairly clean race with the exception that Keith's car looked like a modified at the end of the race. Lol
We greatly appreciate everyone's help with the turn marshalling in this race.

Next up was our 4.5" regular 4.5" Hardbody Stockcars.
TQ went to Tom Eilers with a fast lap of 4.008 while qualifying on green.
Thanks to Vicky Craver for bringing the Elvis Presley tumbler to give away that Gary Chase won.
With no breaks working on the orange lane everyone sat out when on orange so only 7 heats were run for total laps.
Really close racing in the A-Main with less than 1 lap seperating 1st - 3rd when the checkered flag dropped.
