Considering this whole thing started with a 2004 Honda Accord packed full of tools, and a burned out dealership mechanic with a dream!

Alternator AC Voltage Ripple Test.
The alternator has faulty internal diodes. The voltage should read around 0.05 volts.
If your vehicle is experiencing abnormal electrical issues, you may want to check your alternator.
