Customer Was referred to me by a Friend who knew I was familiar with these machines . A Seperate Shop where he had his Machine previously Diagnosed ( Who replaced starter and Key Switched Charged $ 500 ) told him engine was Down and needed replaced . He Was Quoted $ 4,000 plus labor for a replacement engine.
Within couple minutes of Inspecting Machine I Determined that the issue was a stretched Timing Chain Leading to a failed Tensioner. $ 200 in parts that was Needed As well as preventive maintenance replacing oil chain. ( removed head inspected valves and replaced Valve seals ) Add in some Labor $450 machine was ready to be pick
