BIG Thank You to our friends over at BrandJelly for helping us out with an order of stickers to hand out at the Street Machine Nationals in our "Spotlight Builder" booth at the end of this month!!

Our restoration 1955 chevy truck has came a long way.

Part of the restoration has been, reversing restoration and repair work done in the past.

We found AFTER the cab was stripped down, that in the past it was a small window cab and someone had "back-halved" the bad itself!

Unfortunately you dont learn a LOT of those things on restorations until you tear it apart.

BUT that's where we come in, getting body lines and gaps better then factory, and eliminating and preventing the rust from coming back!

Next step is Mustang II, then off to the sandblaster

A little monday CAD work (cardboard-aided design) and we were able to take the customer supplied external radiator, that will double up as heat in the cold months, anddddd there isn't any room**

Air will pass thru an existing cowl vent, around the transmission (like regular cars) thru the radiator and out the floor pans. Such a fun "can you do that" ask from our customer!! Still some diverter controls to figure out.. but we think he will be pleased

It begins a little bitter sweet when a project gets to leave but, After some 60 year old car bugs (and new bugs) were worked out, seeing our friends face when he gets to cruise home makes it all worth it!

We hate to see them leave but love to watch them walk away.

Please forgive for the social media absence, we have had our head down and working on a few long-term projects and (keeping the shorter jobs in rotation) all in preparation for the end of May.

We've been fortunate to be selected as the "Spotlight Builder" at the Street Rod Nationals at the Springfield fairgrounds this year.

I will try and get more posts up to keep everyone up to date on the shop work!

And don't forget to come see us at our booth at the Street Rod Nationals!
