Ok...spent 2 days on this Caterpillar 953 crawler loader...this was a very bad scenario for heavy equipment....owner said it died in this field last spring, was using around 10 gallons of oil per day because of blow by, then puked, shut down...bottom line. No cylinder compression, no fuel pressure. Owner does not want to spend the $$ to resuscitate it from it's current resting position. 31,000 lb ship anchor....possible scrap or salvage value? Let's talk...

Lol....this will be fun. Customer comes to me and says he bought a 1954 Chevy pick up. It has not run in years...wants it running and restored. A day later it shows up on a trailer, honestly I thought he was kidding...but no, so ok, it has the original inline 6 cylinder engine. All original 6 volt d/c electrical...this is gunna be a fun restoration! More on this later....

Ok so here is the big one...a guy comes to me and says he wants to build an experimental saw mill...all new equipment. Totally modified and engineered the way he wants it. He had mennonites build the machines. I have installed the machines. We are still working the bugs out....everything is fully automated. This saw mill is pretty amazing. It will out produce most saw mills in the area with maximum production at minimal human effort. I am seeing a massive volume of pallets being made here with like maybe 5 employees at the most...just a lot of f.y.i., when your dealing with large quantities of 480 volts a/c 3 phase. Stay safe, think before you act! More on this one later... a lot going on here!

This was a 1997 Ford f-350. All the passenger side rear dual wheel studs and nuts broke off....yep you guessed it, both tires came off and it needed some loving....all new wheel studs and nuts installed and this cow feeder is back on the road.

This is a Doosan DL200 articulated front end wheel loader. The heater core was leaking anti freeze inside the cabin. So, with a full cabin tear down to access the heater core and replacement, now she has heat. Happy operating. Gotta love the koreans on this build!

I know I haven't posted anything in a week or so, it's been cold wet and really crappy outside. I have been sick and working on some pretty large projects. Most recent was this vermeer 12 inch chipper. Had a few issues. One issue was the reverse feed was inop. A few limit switch replacements and problem solved, two unit shut down while at operating temperature....well, this tends to happen when there is no fluid in the radiator. It's an easy oversight with a large fleet unit. She gets hot, she is programmed to auto shut down.
