We are a full suite graphics here at . We generally expect the agency to know and ask for what they want installed, but sometimes they don't. Here is a reference for requirements.

No NFPA standard has ever required a fire truck to be red.

Repainting a used one costs $46,000 to $70,000 before graphics.

What the standard does require is reflective material:

🔹 Side striping — 50% of cab and body length
🔹 Front striping — 25% of the width
🔹 Rear chevrons — 6-inch red and yellow at 45 degrees

In a 1984 study lime-yellow ran 15.3 crashes per 100,000 runs. Red ran 31.9. That data predates LED lighting and modern reflective sheeting. Better lighting and striping closed most of the gap.

In 2012 one department priced a wrap at $7,500 against a $25,000 repaint.

A beautiful build we completed earlier in the year was back in town to add a Whelen Engineering Company, Inc. series 8-head light bar to the lower Westin Public Safety Division push bumper. The 2250 bars are incredibly versatile in the flat or angled end cap options. Lots of upcoming projects have these components planned.

It's headed home! We took an already sweet 2026 and tricked it to a Z71 😉! Chrome delete, quarter windows flags, red accents - sharp! Next we wrapped this baby in full smoked lighting and did our finest Command work.

We have a problem.

Our demand and growth is kicking our butt! But, it's the best blessing and problem we could ask for.

We are adding more to our team. We are in a great position to hire some green, no experience, candidates. When we say "no experience" we mean we aren't looking for previous Upfitters with bad habits. We would enjoy having candidates with related electronics experience, maintenance, mechanical or construction. Or any retired or previous law enforcement, firefighter or other first responder.

⁉️ Do you work hard? Enjoy what you do? Pride yourself in building something you can complete and see it used? Take care and ensure what you do is right, always? Then this could be for you.

Or do you work outside in the heat and cold, when you could work inside. Do you work nights and weekends when you could work a 8-5 M-F? Do you work at a monotonous, mundane job when you could have fun and cut-up? Then this could be for you.

Wow! What a great time the team had at our annual retreat. We enjoyed an incredible, massive mountaintop cabin, lots of laughs and bantering, 20 pound rib roast that our house "butcher" carved out incredible fat steaks from, go-cart racing, mountain coasters, knife shopping at SMKW, lots of adult beverages, guitar playing, billiards, sunrises, sunsets...we did it right!

But, we are back and ready for Monday to get here so we can get to work and do what we do best...

This TEAM works hard. This TEAM does incredible work. This TEAM has fun. 💪🏼
