Demarco Equipment Repair is seeking a skilled **Road Mechanic** to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and related machinery. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently in the field.
**Responsibilities**
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on equipment in the field
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine service calls
- Travel to customer job sites as needed
- Document repairs, parts used, and service notes accurately
- Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
**Qualifications**
- Experience as a mechanic, preferably with heavy equipment or diesel systems
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently in remote or outdoor environments
- Valid driver’s license, and CDL if required
- Own tools preferred, depending on your hiring preference
- Good communication and customer service skills
