What a weekend! El Rey De Baja! Rock Racing in Mexico!!! 2 cars, racing at the same time, and 2 solid class finishes!
Andrew and Huck in the ESAB North America/Yukon Gear & Axle 4493 turned in a stellar qualifying run starting in the top quarter of the field. They ran into a bit of issue with the master cylinder and ran half the race with essentially no brakes, but still turned in a solid 13th place finish!!
In the Rigid Industries - LED Lighting/Yukon Gear & Axle 4893 Steve and Mike took it a bit easier in qualifying and started towards the back of the pack, but that's no problem for the fast little 48 car. They ran through the field and missed the podium by less than 5 minutes, turning in an incredible 5th place finish in 4800.
You can tell from the pictures, this course was gnarly!
Our ESAB North America welded chassis took a beating, but never blinked an eye.
It was a perfect course for Raceline Wheels and Maxxis Tires - USA Trep's on both cars, over 250 race miles, without a flat!

Premier Power Welder for building us a solid transmission and 2 new alternators. All in 48 hours after we got back from Norra. We were the ONLY car that ran the NORRA Mexican 1000 and then also the Ultra4 Racing El Rey De Baja 8 days later!
Dave, JT, Texas, Jeremy and the rest of the Ultra4 Racing team put on an awesome event. If you didn't make it, don't miss it next year. This is now our new "can't miss" event on the schedule!

The first Letzroll adventure presented by Metalcloak is in books and all prize eggs (12x) hidden in some of the most amazing country we have ever seen. We hope you enjoy your own adventure as much as we did and also hope this helps as a road map for you and your family / friends can have your own adventure.
The entire Adventure can be done with a 4 wheel drive and you can even split into day trips or over nights. Be prepared and adventure at your own risk. Use your head and plan accordingly. For example we spent one night on a beach (river) and the next in the pines waking up to frost on our tents. We we're a hour drive from the shop to the dirt. A locker is very helpful though one Jeep was open / open. I would say 31" tires min. But be prepared and be safe. This is at your own risk.
We will be releasing all info and clues to these amazing and generous prizes thought out the week so keep paying attention. They will not be in order so we recommend if you find one take it and be happy. Please don't remove it only to look for another and ruin another's experience. Again this is a excuse to have your own adventure and enjoy our beautiful sport with your friends.
All prizes are hidden, follow our clues and they will be fun to find.
