New shop update! While renovations of the offices continue, We are super excited to get this new shop building started! As with all construction, we have hit some red tape and roadblocks that were unforeseen. But we are moving swiftly to get these squashed and get some progress on the new building!

Tim Moore and the Poor Boys Diesel Performance team brought their A-game to UCC 2026. On its first voyage through the 1/8-mile, the Poor Boys Mega Cab went 5.05 at 147 mph (the truck’s best pass in 2025 was a 5.41). A few hours later, Tim and crew put a 5.01-second ET on the board. Who knows, with a third time trial we might’ve seen another Cummins in the 4’s…

And while the truck’s drag strip performance was downright impressive, no one could’ve predicted what this S&S-fueled, Motec stand-alone controlled, Stainless-boosted and Truck Source Diesel-blessed common-rail third-gen would do the following day on the dyno..

Yesterday we got the weight box off, engine out and stripped down, front gears swapped back in, old Motec harness pulled, firewall and frame cleaned up from the flash rust it got being in Indiana humidity 😅 and then we put a gun blue coating on it as a tip from the guys here at Fleece Performance Engineering so we can maintain it with just WD-40 and a rag. Solid tip and we like the way it came out!
