Midas of Arizona is seeking an organized and detailed Automotive Service Advisor. The Service Advisor position is the first step in the career track to become a Store Manager and running a Midas store. It is a Full Time position, but will not need to work Sundays.
Bilingual - Spanish/English is a plus!
Basic responsibilities include:
• Greet customers promptly
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determine and recommend needed maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers

We are looking for an experienced technician to help bring our shop to the next level! At Midas of Phoenix, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience. We are looking for a mechanic who is able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have multiple busy, full-service facilities; and we are looking for a technician to help us create an environment of success!

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Requirements:

Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment.
Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics.
Track record of high personal productivity.
Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications

Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, welders, diagnostic equipment, etc.
May require experience in leading other, less qualified, technicians in vehicle repairs.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical Degree a definite plus.
Valid Drivers License that meets insurance guidelines
Personally have hand tools required to complete skills.

We are looking for Tire and L**e Technicians to help grow our business and who want to grow with us. We have several positions available.

Job Description:

Tire and L**e Technicians perform all tire and wheel-related services while following oil change and vehicle inspection processes.

Job Responsibilities of Tire and L**e Technician:

Tire and wheel installation (mount, balance, rotate, and replacement of tires/wheels)
Oil changes on most all vehicles (l**e, oil change & filter service)
Perform Midas Courtesy Inspection on vehicles
Basic preventative maintenance and other vehicle services

Qualifications Requirements:

One year of experience as a tire and/or l**e technician is preferred
Need to have a positive attitude, be reliable and self motivated.
Must have a valid driver's license.
