For those of you still modifying the Ford 4.6L 2V this dyno graph represents the actual difference between the Dorman(red) replacement intake vs an OEM Ford PI(blue) replacement. The test subject was a 98 GT with PI heads and intake with full bolt ons. The Dorman substitute that only saves $70 compared to new OEM resulted in nearly a 10% loss of power at the wheels.

We are putting an @sctperformance BA500 mass air on this GT500 tomorrow to fix some issues we were having with the OEM. Luckily the BA5000 will likely be the last MAF this car ever needs, supporting up to 825whp! These are direct fit for 2005+ Mustangs but can be retrofit into custom setups in previous generations as well! Then @blackmarketracing will be finishing it up with the tuning!

Ford announced the power numbers for the 2020 GT500 today and it makes an impressive 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque through a supercharged 5.2L V8 and 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission! While this doesn't beat Dodge's Hellcat Redeye at 797 hp it certainly over powers Chevy's Camaro ZL1 at 650 hp!
With Ford claiming it will run a 10 second 1/4 mile the numbers are close enough to the Hellcat where its still too close to call who will win at the drag strip but who are you betting on?

Last week we installed some Driveshaft Shop axles and a QA1 carbon fiber driveshaft in a 2015 Mustang GT and weighed them all while they were out. Check out the results:
Stock Automatic Driveshaft - 29lbs
QA1 Carbon Fiber Driveshaft - 21.4lbs
Stock Axles - 21 and 21.2 lbs
DSS Axles - 28.6 and 28.2 lbs
So all in all that's a net gain of just 7lbs but the real gain here is PIECE OF MIND at the race track!

We wrapped up the install of a @nitrousoutlet wet kit on this Mustang today. Jetted for 100whp it made 478/382 off nitrous and 592/503 on nitrous. It's also fitted with a @nitrousexpress window switch to keep things safe. Edin's 390whp Lightning taking off
Edin sent us in this video of his truck with some basic bolt on mods tearing up the street a little bit. He said its currently making 390hp and 488tq with all parts from RPM Outlet! This is a sample video sent in from one of our customers who has the Motoblue Cog setup installed on his 2003 Cobra. The Motoblue Lightning Cog setup will be ready to ship within a few weeks and is now sold in a black anodized finish. Your SVT Lightning can have the same type of sound and no belt slip! These kits will ship with 6# lowers but expect to see more like 15# of boost since there will be ZERO belt slip.

Good morning, I just order a billet trailer hitch cover from you all. But wow $22.36 for shipping to St. Louis seems crazy high for UPS ground...... 😲
Ok, Let me start with a story. This company was once based in the Houston are, I had found them via online many moons ago. Figured shoot I live not that far from the address, and they have great prices! So I saved up my money for the parts I wanted (Better than Credit Card) as I would have done online. So I went by the address and it was shut down. Well crap.... Never thought much about it, until a google search popped up the name again. And just below the site was another google link on reviews with a disturbing low number. So I looked, and thought WOW. So I contacted the new company and got very speedy response and it was honest and forth coming. Think about it for a minute, to keep the name of the "OLD" and have the forward thinking and the guts to use it again? Now there cannot be shenanigans called for "Name change" "Same crap" . This is all my opinion, and if what I was told was true. I will be giving them a try, I mean why not? we all have that one relative we wish didn't carry our name..... These folks own it, and are trying to make it right.
