The Skyline teaser got everyone talking, but the real detail for the US is that this car is still expected to arrive here as the Q50, not the Skyline. Infiniti leadership has also hinted at a manual and a high-horsepower setup, which is why a lot of people are already connecting the dots to the Z’s VR30 powerplant.

That’s what makes this one worth watching. Either it ends up being a true next chapter for the Skyline or just a high horsepower Q50, the idea of a twin turbo sports sedan with a manual still feels like something worth getting excited about.

But what do you think? Is this just a Q50 refresh, or is Nissan onto something bigger?

We took our powered RZ34 out to and had to get in a few roll racing passes. While we weren’t out to chase a headline number, we did want to get a better feel of the turbo kit since we had the space to really open it up. It was also first time taking a car down the drag strip, and let’s just say, there is no better way to learn than in a 740whp RZ34. More details on that later.

But thats what makes events like so awesome. You don’t have to be a professional driver or have everything figured out to go out there and just enjoy your car. Everybody starts somewhere.

Had a great time over at the Fest!

Ton of incredible builds and gave us the opportunity to take our RZ34 down the drag strip!

Had a great time at giving ride alongs at the second Southwest Shootout this weekend!

Thankfully, this also gave us some more time to feel out the new coilovers before our next track day, and let’s just say they nailed it.

Those being paired with our suspension makes the car feel incredibly stable. Needless to say, we are very excited for the future of this car.
