12/14/2024:

I wanted to provide an update regarding my brother as the outpouring of love, support, and prayer has been overwhelming…

Andy took Jesus’ hand this afternoon, 3:43PM. Andy did make it through one PEF treatment down in Cabo w/ Dr Williams and his team; however his organs proceeded to shut down over the course of the last couple of weeks and he could no longer be sedated for treatment.

Andy and Jenny, at the guidance of my Mom and his medical team, decided to forego the hospital and chose the in-home Hospice Care route.

Andy passed peacefully inside his own home, in Jenny’s arms surrounded by his family. Though this is not the outcome we wanted, we are still eternally grateful for all of the support we’ve received over the past 18 months and I would be remiss without thanking all of you from the bottom of my heart.

We were also able to get Andy and Jenny married via small, private ceremony at his home yesterday afternoon-a true blessing from God.

Andy handled his entire journey incredibly. Never complained, never asked “why”, never gave up fighting-even until his last breath. He’s hands down the toughest human being I have ever known and I will miss him terribly while on this Earth.

RIP Brother. Until we meet again. I will never forget you or our bond.

Andrew Robert Schroeder: 11/17/1985-12/14/2024. Age 39.

Just wanted to give people an update regarding my brother…

As I write this, he is down in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico preparing to undergo an exploratory procedure using PEF (Pulsed Electrified Field) technology to take a more exacting approach…

The procedure is 100% out of pocket. I’ve provided an update via his website/GoFundMe…

Spread the word and help us gain some financial traction as it costs hundreds of thousands of dollars…

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and continues to pray for/support my brother and family.

Huge Happy Birthday shoutout to my brother, my best friend, and one hell of an inspiration to those around you… !

I know I am a day late; but we were too busy having fun yesterday! I just want you to know that you inspire your family, friends, and me daily with your attitude and fight. I love you and am proud to be your brother.

Let’s go to Mexico and kick some cancer ass buddy!

Life always has a way of keeping things in balance. Living itself is so precious and taken for granted daily.

Yesterday morning my brother, completed his cancer treatment.

Neuroendocrine Cancer is rare, aggressive, and nasty. It has been an absolute roller coaster since Easter weekend and I could not be more proud of his relentless positivity and drive to recover.

Being blessed with a brother provides a lifetime, built-in best friend. Cancer doesn’t just impact the patient; but creates a ripple effect that tears through their entire support system…

Upon self-reflecting…I choose to focus on the “good” that has come from his fight…the biggest of which is drawing our family closer together and strengthening the already ironclad bond I have with him.

I would be remiss without thanking the incredible healthcare professionals that have gotten us to this point. Banner Desert Medical Center, Ironwood Cancer Treatment Centers, his surgeon Dr Buckmire, his Oncologist Dr Dharia, my Mother who has been his patient advocate since day 1, and all of you that reached out to him for love and support-I know it helped get us through this…

I’ve always loved comics and superheroes; but now I have a real-life, superhero brother who has beaten cancer. Love you, Andy. So proud of you.

*Sappy Spouse Post Warning*

You’re looking at the Deloitte Phoenix Office’s newest Audit partner. Shannon has taught me many things over the course of our relationship and marriage, but one thing that I have always admired about her is her ability to actually set and achieve long term goals. As someone who is constantly living in the moment; Shannon always reminds the true value associated with patient planning and true work/life balance.

Trust me, the scale of this achievement as a woman constantly battling workplace cliche’s and grinding in a “man’s world” cannot be understated. Shannon never got offended, never got flustered, and never wavered. She is tough as nails, she is honest, and she cares not only about her own brand; but that of Deloitte’s brand.

Without the encouragement from Shannon to chase my own career dream of owning my own business, EcoCare would not exist.

You want to know how I know Deloitte promoted the right person? Shannon does not look at this promotion like the culmination of her career; rather a springboard to achieve great things as a Partner.

Shannon, I’m extremely proud of you and your accomplishments professionally and personally. You balance being a badass Mom and badass Boss with such style and grace-it really is inspiring and fun to watch!

I love you and excited to start this next chapter together.

Summertime is boating season and boats get beat up pretty bad in our AZ sun and heat! This 15 year old gel has been wet sanded, polished, and sealed with a marine grade sealant. The entire interior is taken apart and steam cleaned; then sealed/protected with a semi-acrylic resin technology that holds up really well against the elements!

Does your boat need some mid-season love?? Call EcoCare!

This C7 was a repo auction find and as you can see; whoever owned this Vette previously seriously neglected this car.

My best guess is it may have been wrapped to hide its original color and somewhere along the lines-the wrap was removed with the adhesive left to bake in the sun. Making this more difficult is the top is acrylic-extremely soft and scratches very easy.

Some additional DIY work was done with an eraser wheel-great tool-but creates a ton of friction if not used delicately and some of the white paint was actually burned brown in a failed attempt to fix it…

I actually applied heat via heat gun to small sections of the adhesive/glue at a time and hand scraped it with plastic razor blades being sure not to scratch the top. From there, multiple passes with light correction polish to clean everything up. All the paint work was clay barred, treated for fallout, and polished with CarPro Essence for a one-step correction and sealant.

The pics do this job zero justice as a finished in the dark just before Midnight after being there all day-this Corvette looks like it should again!

Being a mobile detailer means you get to meet some pretty awesome pets-probably one of my favorite pleasant surprises at nearly all jobs since pets are such a huge part of many families. We are sad to see Jane go so young; but we rest easy knowing that she truly lived well during her time with tons of love around her. and I are overwhelmed by everyone’s love and support-so we just wanted to say thank you to everyone. The house is eerily quiet; but we’ll be a dog home again some day. Squeeze those pets tight!

One of the many perks of Mobile Detailing in a sprawling metropolitan area like Phoenix is seeing and appreciating different architecture and neighborhoods… is certainly no exception as the building is the true star of these pics! These jobs are completed off grid w deionized water and generator power as there is no garage access! Just another way EcoCare provides flexibility and peace of mind for our customers!
