So i have a serious issue with this scooter. After waiting almost a month for delivery, I have had this for less than 24hrs and here is what is going on.
Yesterday i took delivery of the scooter and as i mentioned in a previous email, The rear bumper was missing a bold, and the bumper bracket was bent, as well as the center reflector not even attached as it was lying inside the shipping pallet when unwrapped. That looks to be the least of the issues now.
Yesterday after receiving the scooter, i test drove it for about 45 minutes around the block, checking all the lights and functions etc and everything was working well at that point. The battery was reading 5.0 when i received it and after using it yesterday the battery was down to 4.7. I read that a Full charge should be about 7hrs from dead to full, so i just wanted to see how long it would take for the battery to go from 4.7 to full, after plugging in the charger, the red light was on for 6 Full hours before it turned green and charged to full. That was a Red flag as it should take nowhere near that long to go from 4.7 to full.
So then when i turned on the scooter today and turned the key, the LCD display was all messed up, there were flashing numbers quickly and then the Display returned to showing the speed, distance battery etc, however the LCD digits were not displaying correctly, Only parts of the Numbers would show. So after turning off the bike and back on a few times and actually driving it for a few minutes, the display returned to normal.
NOW, the major issue, i decided to take the scooter on a 3 mile ride to really test it and see how the battery would run down , suspension etc, It was working fine literally up to the point when i returned home and which right in front of my house when coming to a stop, turning the throttle did nothing, you can hear the Motor click in the rear, and the scooter may move an inch for a second then nothing, turning the throttle will do nothing.
I got off the bike and tried turning the throttle, same thing, motor clicks, and scooter jumps forward an inch or so, then nothing, It will not move with a person sitting on it or other. i have tried turning it off and on, and nothing.
I have had this less than 24hrs and it is already useless and non functional after paying $2500 for this. So not only did i get a scooter that was either improperly assembled and now a defective motor.
